What started out in 2019 as a small endeavor has grown and grown. In July 2022, Chef Bobby Missinelli has taken over the reins of American Steak and Oyster Bar with one goal in mind: To be the best culinary experience in Murrell's Inlet. Together with a customer-focused staff, we are committed to bringing you the very best Farm to Table Steaks, and Boat to Table Seafood that is available.

What a wonderful spot right in Murrel’s Inlet. We love being able to make a reservation online especially with a little gal in tow. We ordered the raw oysters and clams which were fresh and delicious. The burnt ends were tender and tasty. We ended up getting the Chilean Sea Bass special was devine. Had a booth overlooking the water. They are still waiting on their liquor license but hopefully will have it within the week. Gregory was great and took wonderful care of us. Don’t walk, run here!!
Wonderful place to eat! We were greeted cordially when we entered the door and immediately escorted to our table by the hostess. Our waiter, Red, promptly introduced himself and took our drink order. This being New Year's Eve, they had a wonderful reasonably priced buffet! Everything was very fresh, juicy, and flavorful! Absolutely incredible. Going to be the first place I recommend to all friends and family for their stays in Myrtle Beach. I got the shrimp po boy and it was more like a subway foot long the thing was so big! The views were incredible, staff was extremely friendly. My only recommendation would be some nice lighting on the back patio.
The restaurant is really nice and the food and staff were great! When you walk in, the vibe and decor tells you that the owners are proud to be an American business. They give back to the community and charities every time someone comes in to dine, which is such a great thing that they do! ***Update***July, 2021 Second time was a charm. Thanks, Taylor, for the great service!! We will see you again. ***May, 2021***The service was lackluster, but the food was delicious. We waited over an hour when we were told we would be seated in 25 minutes. We will go back, and hope for better service next time.
