Best feature in this facility is the basketball court. Best court in area of Meridian / Boise. Shares with a separate company so pickup or leagues are unlikely. Squat racks are non existent and shoved into a literal corner. Equipment is old and outdated. Could have potential if Villa corporate would invest money and not just change a logo. Aesthetic is weird
Tonight I was called by the daycare to let me know they are closing 25 min early. That cut the second part of my lift that I planned on doing. Girls just said they both had to leave. I would never be able to leave work early if it meant the place would close. This has never happened before and for a mom that works I really count on the childcare workers to keep the hours. Villa sport needs to understand they are a customer business not just a gym.
Solid gym. Gym etiquette is great. Lots of weight machines and cardio equipment. Full bball court. Large group of “Hoist” brand machines that are all pretty much garbage. Hammer equipment, Free Motion, and others that are great. Tanning is not included in membership but there is an in house tanning facility that costs extra. you can’t bring anyone under the age of 18 with you as a guest (I bring my teenagers to my main gym on occasion), so a negative for me. I cancelled my membership when Villa Sport took over Axiom and they didn't complete my cancellation when they were suppose to and waited 2 months to complete my cancellation and charged me a late fee saying they attempted to charge my bank, which never changed for 2 decades.They collected money that didn't belong to them. Frauds ! For 3 years my account was in good standing with Axiom. Someone didn't do there job properly and waited months to finish the cancellation.
My gf and I were called during our workout by the kids club at 7:35 pm and told we had to pick up our kid because they needed to leave. Kids club hours says until 8:00pm. So why are we being charged for daycare when they are kicking us out early? Makes no sense for us to continue paying for services we aren’t receiving. Will definitely be looking for a new gym for my family
