I have been a member here for many years, due to this being the closest gym to my house. The remodel of the gym includes a nice new sauna, which I love, but the gym equipment could really use some upgrades! The stair steppers are awful! Most of the time there is at least 1-2 of the 6 machines not working and the body shaker machine has not been replaced 😒 Overall cleanliness of the gym is ok (saunas need vacuumed just like all the other areas) Overall would be nice to see upgraded equipment.
Since buying axiom the membership has gone up dramatically but no improvements have been made. Added pictures of broken/damaged machines. Just 3 of many im sure
Not an entirely bad gym in general. The equipment is dated. Alot of the treadmills dont work well so you have to play musical chairs to find a good one. Some lifting equipment out of service for long periods which cuts down on the available equipment which goes hand in hand with the next issue, space. Unfortunately I am limited to peak hours in the morning or afternoon but there is just simply way to many people to get a decent workout in. If I could give this gym zero stars, I absolutely the hell would. $50 a month ontop of an annual fee of $60 and more than half of your cardio machines don’t work? Place is a scam. Planet fitness is better than this. Nobody should have to change machines 3 times because of “errors”. Totally vibe ruining. Waste of MONEY
Best feature in this facility is the basketball court. Best court in area of Meridian / Boise. Shares with a separate company so pickup or leagues are unlikely. Squat racks are non existent and shoved into a literal corner. Equipment is old and outdated. Could have potential if Villa corporate would invest money and not just change a logo. Aesthetic is weird
