Mark and Miranda Paup set out on a new journey in 1999, the company was originally named City Rule and later switched to Golden Rule in 2007. The Golden Rule name was chosen for the reason of what we stand for, treating others how we would want to be treated. In the beginning City, Rule had 4 service trucks. Heating and cooling were added to our services in 2005 and we switched to primary service in 2008. Through the years and many changes, the company continued to grow: more employees, more trucks, and more customers.

Awesome service, excellent communication, quality workmanship. Highly recommend. Work was pricey but worth it. Took care of everything start to finish. Left place spotless and ductwork was top notch. Had full geothermal unit replaced which is not a typical job. They were up to the challenge.
Lee was prompt+ honest about the electrical job that was needed. Brandon was the plumber who serviced our remodeling job. Brandon did a FANTASTIC job when some unexpected problems arise. He went over our options to resolve the problems which he promptly fixed. We would recommend Brandon and trust he to take care of our plumbing needs. Thank you Golden Rule for sending us professionals like Brandon, Abraham, and Lee.
Electical update. Response time was excellent and Anthony was super nice and talented. He made an extra in person visit to talked my dad. I like that they provide three options. Easy to work with and if you’re looking for communication-they have it down! Anthony and all crew-5 stars. MidAm-1 star.
Brian at Golden Rule was the most down to earth technician I’ve ever dealt with. He taught me several things, took time to explain why he was doing what he was with my furnace (like the rust building up on my coil in the picture) and never once came off sales-y or forceful with repair options. The office ladies on the phone scheduling my appointment were also very kind and caring. It’s clear they put the customer experience at the top of their priority list. I couldn’t recommend them enough.
Luke diagnosed and explained the issue I was having with the A/C. He provided options for repair or replace, taking time to explain and discuss with me. When I decided to replace, Brandin explained the various new systems available and provided quotes, and did not pressure me for a quick decision. They were able to schedule next day installation too. My first experience with GRPHC was pleasant and positive.
