Little Pigs Barbecue opened its doors in February of 1962 at 2822 Rosewood Drive in Columbia, SC as the 31st franchise of Little Pigs of America, based in Memphis Tennessee. In early 1965, Little Pigs of America filed for bankruptcy and the Columbia operation changed its operating name to the Little Bar-B-Q Hut. This was probably one of the best surprises on my vacation foodie stops. First located in an easy accessible location, right off the highway. Parking was extremely good and entering the restaurant was fast and smooth. The price for food and drinks for seniors was unbelievable!!! I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was visiting from out of town and stopped here. The food was tasty and there was a nice selection to choose from at the buffet. The employees were friendly. It appeared to be the spot to hit on Saturday night. Busy but found a seat easily. Even had a live musician.
It's been awhile since I've been there to eat but hands down it's still good 😊
This is a small Gem hidden in Columbia minutes away from the Interstate! If your are a pulled pork Lover this is your Spot! It's all you can eat, buffet style ! Family friendly and they are a big Fans our veterans🫡❤️ Best times to dine in is Noon, anything after that it does get a little crowded . The waitress comes around mostly to refill your drinks everything else is self-serve!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this establishment!!!! Everything about Little Pigs Barbecue is amazing!!!!! The greens melt like butter in your mouth. The fish is seasoned so well and cooked to perfection 👌 Let me tell yall about the hush puppies nah you have to go see for yourself lol.
