I just called them back about my inquiry to be pre-approved for a loan. Spoke with Abby who had the worst demeanor I have ever encountered from a call like this. I asked for their email to submit the lengthy list of attachments they asked for and she told me everything has to be fax or in-person drop off. I said that makes me not want to do business with them and she said, “Okay, great” and hung up on me. Impressions matter and this was not a good start!
This location judges you based on how you look. I’ve been to the Providence location plenty of times and have never had an issue. I walked in today at the cranston branch and the “head” teller, Lisa, stares at me awkwardly for 10 seconds before calling me over. As i approached the desk she tells me to remove my hat. No longer have an auto loan with them but customer service was excellent, quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will possibly be getting a new loan in the future. Rates are also very aggressive.
Man has this place gone down hill. I never comment on these things, but I'm pretty peeved. Went in for assistance with an auto loan. I already have had 2 loans with them (one of which is still open). For 5 minutes, they cannot find my accounts by name or social?! Two women working my issue. One was obviously a trainee. The woman training her must have been fed up or having a bad day. Definitely my worst banking experience.. when I first signed up for my account the supervisor was demoralizing the staff just below here and making it uncomfortable to continue to open the account but I was already sitting with the banker but I should have followed my gut.. They don’t have your best interest in mind because I had thousands of dollars in one account and they kept telling me the wrong number that I needed in my checking which led them to keep charging my account without just pulling money from another account ... read more
