I have been a frequent visitor to Villa Sports for quite a while. I was happy to see the recent remodel, hoping it would improve the facility overall. However, I have noticed that the maintenance of the hot tubs has been seriously neglected. The hot tubs are consistently nasty. The gym equipment needs updated there is a lot of equipment that doesn't work here. The new lockers they have people constantly go through and lock them all then when you tell the front counter all the lockers are locked they won't do anything about it. Corporate has taken over here and it has went wayyyyy down hill. I feel like they respond to our reviews only to try and make themselves look good when in reality they could care less about the people that works out there. Who's ever in charge definitely shouldn't be.

I’ve been coming here for around 15 years, I think it may have still been Golds at that point. The equipment is still the same. The leg extension and leg curl machines are so worn out I don’t feel safe putting a heavy load on them. Villa came in, bought up Axiom, threw some new paint on stuff, new lockers and called it good. Boise is in dire need of a more modern and better caliber gym.

There is a review on here about lockers being locked. It is accurate I’m here at 4:49AM and nearly the entire top row of lockers are locked and there’s like 8 people in the entire gym. Do us a favor and unlock these things for people’s use before closing each day. Also men’s locker is a bit stinky with no one here…
