Ordered exterior shutters for our house. Everyone at the contractor desk was very helpful. We were show 2 lines of shutters and were in no way pressured when we chose the less expensive ones. They ordered the shutters and they came in sooner than expected, no project delay. When I picked up the shutters everyone was extremely kind and helpful and I was in and out in no time at all. We would highly recommend Wehrung's in Macungie for any of your building or hardware needs.
I always thought this place was more for contractors, but over time they have really stepped up their game for homeowners. Great place to shop, fun themed-events during the year, and always puts out coupons. Keep up the good work.
If you love supporting local, family owned businesses, this is an easy one. Nice selection of the essentials you expect out of s hardware store, along with the specialty stuff you can't find at the big box stores. Service is knowledgeable and friendly during each visit. Keep local stores like this in business, make them your first choice before you go online or to one of the big stores down the street.
Very helpful. 2 personnel helped me look through their shelves to find a product. Even when I said I'd look myself once they found the correct aisle, they continued to search and eventually found exactly what I needed. Better than Home Depot or Lowe's. Wehrung appears to have a large selection of products and definitely has a good selection of helpful staff.
Well, I liked Dries. Then this newfangled company came in and I was sure they were gonna wreck my local hardware store. I am the proprietor of the motorcycle shop in town. Not the dealer, I'm an indie, so we get all the old and weird bikes. I'm in here all the time for fasteners; they all have something falling off. Dries had a good selection. Wehrung's, to my amazement, actually improved it and made it larger. Prices are no great shakes on their own, but they send so many coupons I can't NOT shop here. Come canning season... read more
